Support for Academic Programs: Quality academic programs, delivered by dedicated faculty, are the heart of Penn State's educational experience. Gifts to support academic programs are designed to enhance the academic environment of our students and faculty, often merging the special interests of a donor with enrichment opportunities. Examples include funds to support student tutorial services to a specific degree program to a lectureship. Minimum endowment gifts range from $25,000 to establish a program endowment to $100,000 to endow a lectureship. Restricted funds may also be established, with gift amounts determined by the nature of the program that is to be supported and may be made over a multi-year period.
Campus Fund: Gifts to the Campus Fund provide support for the campus’ highest priority programs and projects. They give the Chancellor the flexibility to direct funds toward the areas of most pressing need, and may include the general scholarship fund, specific programs or departments, outreach programs, student services, campus beautification, or other areas of need.
